Tim Tam Slam night

On Wednesday night we had the workers over and the young girl from New Zealand over for a taco meal!!! We had to do things the hard way, like make our own bean paste since they dont sell black beans here! After supper and dessert, we sang and talked. For the dessert we introduced them to something called the Tim Tam Slam. When we were camping last year at Kookanusa some friends of ours showed it to us and we loved it! So we bought some Tim Tams ( chocolate waferish cookies, with chocolate filling) and some hot chocolate, and let them try it out.

Jean attemping the tim tam slam. So you bite 1 corner on opposite sides and then you suck up the hot chocolate through the cookie and shove the cookie in your mouth. YUM.

Chris's 1st try at it, which you can see he spilt.

2nd try with more hot chocolate.

Both Jean and Chris trying again. :)

The next day we went to the market, which was very cool. We bought some neat souvenirs there. There was a massive tent full of fish, you could hardly breathe in there. The market is right downtown where the cruise ships stop. We passed by a cruise ship which was massive! On monday we are going back to the market again for a little bit to finish up some shopping, cant wait!!!

The market is to the left of all these boats. Its hard to see, since most of the boats are blocking it.

One of the huge cruise ships.
