Jean Gravil has left to return home to Canada. Yesterday was spent running around trying to get dentist appointments done for all the kids. Dental work is about a third of the price here.
While in Theo, Brennan had gone out night fishing and got some sort of burn/rash on his hands and couple spots on legs. We were told there are some trees out there that a person can be allergic to. Accacia?
The doctor in Noumea got him on antibiotics just in case, and had a blood test ordered which turned out fine. They are now treating it with an anti-fungal. Its not bothering him too much and certainly hasn't made his appetite abate!
We stopped in at a McDonalds which was interesting. Very expensive. It 'kinda' reminded us of home but with just enough differences to make you think "something is different with this 1/4 pounder!"
Today, Wed, we just woke up. Jen and Brittany are going to go to a gym just down the road to get some exercise, I guess moving their pool chairs around to catch the sun isn't enough cardio for them :) Its an overcast day out so will likely hang here at hotel.
Met some interesting folks who work for Xstrata mining up north, and we hope to go see them when we go up that way Friday/Saturday. Workers are talking about coming along which will be nice.
